Even if the World Bursts into Hate

Written by T.K

In Even if the World Bursts into Hate, R & B singer Kichibe, from Osaka, sings of the importance to love and trust one another and, through her voice, calls to engrave this importance into our hearts.
Today's world is filled with suffering as racial, religious discrimination and violent conflict continues.
Hate speech is rampant in Japan, so much so that Japan recently received harsh criticism from the United Nation's Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
In any country there are good and bad people regardless of their racial and religious backgrounds. What is important is for each one of us to have the imagination to yearn for a loving world, based not on suffering but on the trust and bonds that have been formed in friendship throughout the world.

During the Vietnam War, American R & B singer Marvin Gaye aroused sympathy in his masterpiece What's Going On as he sang the words "Only love can conquer hate".
This song is contains a prayer for the chain of suffering to be broken, and a vow to continue to believe in one another, to believe in the future, even if the world bursts into hate.

Kissing tomorrow... believe in tomorrow!

"Even If the World Bursts into Hate"
Just a single gunshot tearing you apart
Broken vows Blowing up your mind
Shouts of hatred Flooding the streets
Parades bound for madness Songs of exile
Painting you and me black
Against the hate speech
Let me hold you as you cover your ears
Against the hate speech
I will kiss you in your overflowing tears
Against the hate speech
And hold your trembling shoulders tight,
forevermore forevermore
Even in the world bursts into hate

Morning Glory

written by Manji Ikuta

In the 1980's Negros Island (Philippines) suffered from a historic socio-economic crisis.
World sugar prices hit rock bottom and caused plantation owners to let off many laborers, which resulted in the rapid spread of starvation.

Written by rock singer Manji Ikuta, this song was inspired by the children of Negros Island who- like morning glories that bloom with the morning sun- continued to lived robustly even in poverty.

To those souls that sparkle, regardless of having no textbooks to read or shoes to wear,

This song is a gift from us, who live in spiritual poverty.

The song gently reminds us of what is truly important to each of us who live in these modern times. It is a song that continues to be sung, beyond generations.

"Morning Glory"
In the sun a nameless flower has blossomed
blighter than the glitter of the golden fame of some
to radiance is hard for any to dictate
Making grown-ups' rusty rules just out of date
This is a song for you barefoot kids
who've got nothing but shining eyes
We're so sorry, it's not good shoes to fit
But a tiny gift just newly made by the poor in the spirit
In the sun are dancing mischevous cupids
scattering tears on the cheeks of kids
Wipe them off and smile like a rainbow
never to be fooled again by grown-ups anymore
This is a song for you barefoot kids
who have hardly anything but shining eyes
We're so sorry, it is not good shoes to fit
but a tiny gift just newly made by the poor in the spirit
Morning Glory shines so holy
May love bless all the kids on the globe
Morning Glory blooms so slowly
May the world be shared together with your naked hope
